ABOUT
Katja Martineau is a photographer originally from Geneva, Switzerland. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Management at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and is currently working at the Olympic Committee Paris 2024 in France.
Katja's friends and family recognized her innate talent for photography even as a small child and encouraged her with a Sony DSC RX10 III for her 21st birthday but her passion and talent really ignited at 20 years old while on an internship in Berlin. Surrounded by the city's hip and edgy art scene she bought her first "old school" Pentax ME in the 80's and her own photographic signature has developed from there.
Her style is to take "stolen" pictures from everyday street life and spontaneous scenes from many cultural perspectives taken on her extensive travels in a "journalistic style" of photography.

Katja Martineau est une photographe de Genève, Suisse. Elle est diplômée d'un Bachelor en Hôtellerie et Management à l'Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne et travaille actuellement au Comité des Jeux Olympiques Paris 2024.
Elle s'est intéressée à la photographie dès l'adolescence. A 21 ans, lors de son séjour à Berlin, elle s'achète un réflex Pentax ME des années 80 sur eBay et concrétise sa passion à travers ses voyages.
Son style est surtout des photos "volées" qui capturent l’être humain de façon spontanée dans des espaces festifs, naturels et urbains principalement.
